About our director
Jolene Ostendorf has been a specialist teacher for more than 15 years and holds multiple qualifications in the field of education, most notably a Master of Education specialising in inclusive education. An expert in the education of children with learning disabilities, Jo is passionate about working alongside families to ensure that children can reach their full academic potential as well as training teachers to teach these children. An out-of-the-box thinker, Jo loves to find solutions to education related issues.
Jo has headed up the learning support units at Kearsney College, Cowan House Prep as well as more recently been the Deputy Principal in charge of the LSEN Unit at Hillcrest Primary. She is a rare find in the education field as she has worked with children at every stage of their schooling from Grade R to Matric, and has worked in both the public and independent schooling systems.
